Movement and visual artist pursuing how rigorous choreography becomes a site of catharsis, presence, and transformation. Her work bridges performance and visual storytelling, capturing the body’s intensity and nuance across stage and screen.

Currently in the process of choreographing her third evening-length performance.

Sierra Hendrix is a movement and film artist based in Brooklyn, NYC. She graduated magna cum laude from Cornish College of the Arts Advanced Degree Program in 2017. She is a former apprentice for GALLIM. After suffering from multiple brain injuries, her dance career has shifted to producing and choreographing her own work. Over the past 5 years, she has independently produced two evening-length performances in NYC. Her choreography has been shown at Adams Theater, BASE: Experimental Arts + Space, Coffey Street Studios, Turnpark Art Space and more. Her films have been presented at Disco Riot’s Queer Mvmnt Festival, Men in Dance Festival, TUFF festival and more.
